Dr. Liza Ledet
Owner/Veterinarian
Liza Ledet, DVM, graduated with honors from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007, serving as chairperson of several organizations including the Emergency and Critical Care Society and student chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Following her licensure, Dr. Ledet joined Animal Care Center in Hammond, La., where she worked as a staff veterinarian until founding Mandeville Animal Hospital in 2013. Her interests include internal medicine, dermatology, emergency and critical care, and oncology.
A native of Philadelphia, Pa., Dr. Ledet earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Temple University in 2003. She is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association, Old Mandeville Business Association, and the Veterinary Honor Society, Phi Zeta.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Ledet is a group fitness instructor and enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle, including attending LSU and Saints football games football games and enjoying the Old Mandeville lakefront with her husband Joe, her son Luke, and Joe’s two beautiful girls, Blake and Kellen. Pictured is Dr. Ledet’s 16 year old dog, Rocco, and her cat Snow, who is a Maine Coon.
Dr. Ledet is immensely involved in her community and in 2018, Dr. Ledet was appointed President of the Old Mandeville Business Association and also served as co-PTA president during the 2018-2019 school year at Mandeville Elementary.
